Dear Fellow Attorneys,

 

I am a consumer and real estate attorney in Lynnwood Washington . I mostly

do mortgage modification, helping people with adjustable rate and high

rate mortgages to fix them.

 

My real interest is in environmental law. My pro bono work is to encourage

medical malpractice, products liability, class action, and other

litigation-oriented attorneys to bring class action cases against water

districts,

counties, cities, states, and agencies which fluoridate their water or

endorse water fluoridation.

 

I am not a litigator by nature, and I cannot organize a class action suit

on my own. But I am ready, willing, and able to consult with firms ready to

bring such a case and bridge the legal-medical-scientific gap.

 

Water fluoridation is an assault on our bodies. It affects some people

more than others, especially those who sweat a lot and thus drink more water,

athletes, those with kidney and thyroid disease, and other sensitive

populations such as infants and young children.

 

We retain 50 percent of all the fluoride we consume over the course of our

lifetimes, so a 60 year old man or woman will have a quarter pound of

fluoride imbedded in his or her bones, causing more and more arthritic symptoms

as they age. Because aluminum fluoride passes the blood-brain barrier,

water fluoridation may be the cause of Alzheimer's disease.

 

People with kidney disease cannot excrete fluoride well, so they are more

sensitive to fluoride. The National Kidney Foundation has renounced its

previous endorsement of water fluoridation to avoid being a target for a

lawsuit.

 

The arch-conservative American Dental Association has grudgingly

promulgated a warning that infant formula should not be made using fluoridated

water. The ADA is funded in part by the CDC which is the biggest cheer leader

for water fluoridation. Mother's milk contains 1/100th the concentration of

fluoride in the fluoridated water she drinks from the tap. Mother Nature is

trying to tell us something.

 

Millions of children are afflicted with dental fluorosis embarrassing

enough to make them smile with their lips together. The typical 1 part per

million fluoridation level is calibrated to cause mild dental fluorosis in ONLY

12% of children. Why should any children be subjected to fluorisis? This

is more than negligence; it is reckless and intentional wrongdoing.

 

Fluorisis is not just a superficial malady. All the bones are fluoridated.

Osteosarcoma is most common in 8 to 10 year old boys, and it occurs at the

points in bones where they are growing, the points where the most fluoride

is accumulating.

 

Fluoride is an endocrine disruptor and affects a host of biological

processes. Fluoride affects the thyroid gland and the pineal gland. It is

implicated in obesity, early onset of puberty, type 2 diabetes, and reduced IQ.

The irony is that fluoride prevents tooth decay only if applied topically.

Drinking it makes about as much sense as eating sunscreen to prevent

sunburn.

 

Want to help a lot of people and make a lot of money? Consider starting a

class action fluoridation suit. There are thousands of potential defendants

and millions of potential plaintiffs.

 

I would assume that it would not be necessary to prove that fluoridation

is the exclusive cause of any of the maladies mentioned above, only that it

is a contributing cause and that it exacerbates symptoms. I believe it

would be fairly simple to assemble experts who would testify to the causal

connections.
