Guest guest
Shan's Note: Adrenal deficiency also causes one to lose the hair on the lower body. Adrenal fatigue or deficiency often seems to be a problem with those that have hypothyroidism also . Hunting for the cause of hairless legs _http://www.wrightnewsletter.com/etips/ht200904/ht20090401b.html_ (http://www.wrightnewsletter.com/etips/ht200904/ht20090401b.html) Q: I'm a 56-year-old man with a curious, although not life-threatening problem. My entire adult life I haven't had any hair on my legs. Do you have any information on what might be the cause? Dr. Wright: In men, low testosterone levels are one of the main causes of thin leg or body hair. Have your testosterone levels checked. If they're below the normal range, you may want to consider bio-identical testosterone replacement. It's a good idea to consult with a physician skilled and knowledgeable in natural medicine and bio-identical hormones for help with testing and any steps you decide to take afterwards. Guest guest
I am a 57 year old woman, and I have only hair on my legs like that of an 8 yr old child, I also have never shaved under my arms or had to use deodorant. My guess is a lack of testosterone - I just wish some doc somewhere back when I used to bother to ask why had looked into the reason instead of patting me on the back and saying wasn't I the lucky one. Well ya, it has been nice not to have to shave, BUT perhaps my thyroid, adrenal and pituitary problems might have been discovered back then instead of when I was 50!!!! And a real hurting puppy by then, and I don't think I will ever be " normal " I think it is just too late with too much damage done. Doctors need to think and listen whenever there is a cause.....there eventually will be an effect. SeaLady Shan's Note: Adrenal deficiency also causes one to lose the hair on the lower body. Guest guest
Hello I once had hair on my legs and one morning woke up it was as if someone shaved me. I have a low thyroid. Any suggestions for me using alternative means? Sonja , bestsurprise2002 wrote: > > Shan's Note: Adrenal deficiency also causes one to lose the hair on the > lower body. Guest guest
And yet another cause for hair loss - fungus. When I got rid of fungus on my lower legs, the hair grew back after being hairless for years. I got rid of the fungus, which was eating the hair follicles, by applying Cansema (www.altcancer.com) over a colloidal silver solution applied to my legs. On my head, I am successfully getting my hair back by applying colloidal silver with baking soda in solution. The only drawback is that the baking soda is also bleaching my hair slightly.
