Yoga can help with Insomnia as well as lower back pain. At least it does

for me. Try Yoga or a good Yoga therapist.

These are a few remedies that worked for me for health problems I had for

years. I injured my back weight lifting the wrong way for years. So my back was

always a problem, but I was always able to mostly remedy the pain by

suspending the lower half of my body by holding myself up with my hands on the

edge

of a counter, shopping cart, etc. Whenever I suspended myself my back would

pop where it was injured which would relieve almost all the pain. Then one day

I did some straight leg dead lifts with light weights, and the next day my

back hurt much worse and the pain would not go away. My pain level was about

8/10. I had trouble moving in bed, and my back hurt badly when I sneezed. So

after about 100 trips to the chiropractor the pain level went down to about

2/10. Then I saw a physical therapist who pressed down at the injury spot and

gave me a few exercises like stretching my quads, because tight quads pull the

hips forward, placing a tennis ball underneath me on the injured spot when

lying face up, using a foam roller, etc. All these exercises probably helped,

but the only one that made a noticeable difference was when the therapist

pressed down on the injured spot. So after seeing the therapist my pain level

was like 1/10. Then I saw someone on Youtube doing wrestler's backbridging

claiming that this exercise helps injured spines. I tried it and noticed an

instant improvement and started doing it regularly. Now my pain level is less

than

1/10, and my back feels normal most of the time. The first chiropractor I

saw told me I had a 50/50 chance of noticing any improvement from chiropractic

care. When doing the exercise hold the bridging position for as long as is

comfortable and keep arching up as high as you can always trying to get your

nose closer to the floor. The more you arch the better the stretch of the

spine. This backbridging exercise may have been all I needed. So, if you have

back

problems try these remedies in the reverse order I tried them: backbridging

then physical therapy and final ly chiropractic. Try physical therapy before

chiropractic because chiropractic requires many treatments usually. I only

needed to go to the physical therapist a few times. Other back remedying

exercises like those on Youtube are worth a try too.

I suffered from allergies for years. My nose would run year round, and I

would get major allergy attacks where my nose would run and I would sneeze for

hours. I had the carpet removed and hard floors installed, and my allergies

dropped by 80-90% instantly. The dust, dust mites, mold or whatever else in

carpet were the main causes throughout my life.

I had trouble sleeping most of my life. Then one day a revelation came to me

and I bought some ears plugs. Problem solved. Duh, years of suffering could

have been eliminated with just ear plugs. Makes one feel a little retarded. I

stopped using the ear plugs and now use, I'm embarrassed to say, ear

protection shooting muffs because the ear plugs were pushing too much wax into

my

ears, and I would have to occasionally use garlic oil and a squirt bulb to

clean out the wax which works well by the way. I also use a sleeping mask which

is also essential. I haven't had any trouble sleeping since dawning sleeping

mask and ear muffs.

I went to the doctor for the insomnia and allergies. Of course, he

prescribed pharmaceuticals for both. Both I'm sure rather dangerous. The

steroidal

spray did work but at what cost and danger to my health? The sleeping pills did

not work. Typical conventional medicine. Just prescribe pills and don't look

for the underlying cause. Pills were not the solution for me. An alternative

practitioner would have I'm sure investigated the underlying causes more

thoroughly. Pharmaceuticals are the fifth leading cause of death for Americans

and the leading cause of addiction, but there's a war on drugs. Check out

Mercola and psychetruth on Youtube for some revealing videos on how the

pharmaceutical industry operates. Pretty scary, but they're not much different

than

most industries.

A long post, but I wrote it hoping my experiences will save someone trouble.

A little knowledge can oftentimes save a lot of hassle.
