If you are a provider that performs abortions or women's healthcare, you

have to put aside your feelings and do what is best for the patient. That is

part of the oath that you took when you got your degree.

If you don't want to perform abortions- then don't go into women's

healthcare in the first place. That is a no brainer.

I am a NP and I perform abortions. I do what is best for the patient and I

HONOR what my patient chooses for HER OWN body.

If you don't feel that way- get out of medicine.

Obama is doing the right action.

Thank you for posting this important information. We as Americans must wake

from our sleepiness, and see what is happening! This health bill is indeed

true. Also, what is true, that goes hand in hand with this, is that the new

Obama administration, wants to repeal the " Concience clause, " that protects

doctors, and nurses, medical workers from opting out of surgical abortions.

This clause was put into place days before Bush left, to protect doctors

against the upcomming FOCCA act, The administration now wants to pull that

discression out from the medical field, and force everyone to participate in

this. I think we will see a massive overturning in the medical field. This

is taking what we value most away from America, our freedom to choose, our

freedom to speak.

We need to keep America truly free as it is now. This bill changes

everything, most people are not paying attention to this, and it could slip

on by under the rug, and then be almost impossible to undue it. We can

still stop this, if we as a people stand up, and tell congress we don't want

this. Our congressmen have a duty to speak for the people, they need to

hear from us.

Personally, this is the first year ever, I called my Senator's office, and

my representative's office to tell them how I would like them to vote on

certain issues. Please consider doing the same. Things happen for the

worst when good people stand by and do nothing.

Thanks Nancie for setting the record straight. I dont' believe there is a soul

out there who LOVES BABIES MORE THAN I.They are truly the most adorable

creatures and they give me tremendous joy. I don't mind the spit up, dirty

diapers. My family would always pass the baby to me to clean up and it didn't

make a difference to me at all BUT when you have a person who wants to abort

what can you do except respect their wishes. Maybe they can't afford them, maybe

they can't give them a good life.or they may be alcoholics or drug addicts or

maybe they were raped and they can't live with that everytime they look at the

baby they know they are a product of rape or they may even abuse and even kill

the child after its born. Who knows. Respect the person's wishes and pray for

them. I KNOW EVERY CHILD HAS A RIGHT TO LIVE BUT WHO WILL CARE FOR SOME OF THEM,

TAXPAYERS WHO CRY ABOUT CARING FOR THESE CHILDREN? Sonja Mack
