Guest guest
Cindy- Have you seen a pain management specialist for your chronic pain? If you are managed properly for your pain, there is no reason to take 3 different narcotics for your pain. This smacks or medical malpractice. In fact it can be life threatening for you to take narcotics with additives such as Tylenol or asprin in them. One problem is these combo narcotics are NOT intended for chronic pain- only for acute pain [ pain lasting less than 6 months]. These combo narcotics can damage you liver and kidneys if taken too long and too high of doses. Acupuncture works well in the treatment of chronic pain, so does massage therapy; music therapy; acupressure; reiki; biofeedback; among others. One of specialities is pain management. I am a 52 year old woman who in the last 8 years has had 3 major abdominal surgeries resulting in 90% of my large colon being removed. Eight years ago I was diagnosed with Poly Inflammatory Arthritis as well as Fibromyalgia. I also suffer from depression which I contribute to what I have been through the last 8 years. .I am now taking several different narcotics to deal with the continual pain that I am in. I have recently started seeing a Naturopath and an Energy Healer. I have purchased a juicer and am also making protein shakes daily. I have to be so careful with levels of fluids I take in because the transit time is so quick it basically causes me to be housebound. ..
