Guest guest
I scheduled a massage and the lady (who seemed knowledgeable and very nice) asked if I had any health issues. I explained that I just recently had a DNA stool analysis show that I have yeast and a parasite unknown in man. She would not do a massage on me do to this. I explained that there was NO way she could get either from me, but she would not listen. Do you think she was right in her thinking? It made me very upset. Thanks Deb
Guest guest
Deb, " Do you think she was right in her > thinking? " Many times, I don't think people are right in their thinking... but if they are open for a discussion, we talk..... If not, it probably isn't worth my time or effort and I move on.... Not knowing all the " he said, she said " of the story and only going on what you have written, the first thing that struck me was what you wrote " analysis show that I have yeast and a > parasite unknown in man " ... the " parasite unknown in man " alone would probably warranted me to ask more questions (we are so full of parasites, dormant virus's, active virus's and creepy crawlies anyway)I for example have requested we reschedule an active shingles client... In your case, I would have asked my client if they had any rashes, cuts, oozing spots etc.. and express that these areas will not be touched. And I'd be sure I didn't have any little cuts/hang nails etc. If I did, I'd wear the finger cots (looks like little condoms for fingers) It is all about safe practices... washing before and after is always good practice. In working in close proximity with a client, i'd be more worried about sneezing, coughing etc.... Don't feel bad, except it as it is and move on. I suggest that you get the name of this parasite and maybe read on it.... print out some information and then bring it with you...
