Guest guest
I was diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis in 2007 after having a severe attack of pain in my foot, leg and hip. The psoriasis was bad but I had learned to deal with the rash from it. I could not ignore the pain because I could not walk without severe pain. Actually, it hurt whether I was walking or not. I was put on Methotrexate and Enbrel. Now, I am having severe muscle soreness and pain. Not much joint pain but the soreness is almost debilitating. I have to work and want to work. I recently had a URI and stopped both the Methotrexate and Enbrel. I am considering not going back on it. Does anyone have any information about ANYTHING that might help me and this pain. I hate taking pain medication and what they give me does little good. Help? Sherryhh46
Guest guest
I have a sister and brother that has this same arthritis and they are using the Marshall protocol and doing really good. My sister has had psoriatic arthritis for probably 20 years and has done Methotrexate and many things to try to function each day, she is a teacher and could not even hold an ink pen. The Marshal protocol has turned her back into an active person being able to do things she has not done in years, she can even knit now. My brother was diagnosed about 6 years ago and went on the Marshall protocol right away since my sister has had such good results. They both control the psoriasis with diet, avoiding eating plants in the nightshade family, for my brother it is tomatoes and my sister it is about all nightshades. I have written here before about the Marshall protocol because another sister on it for sarcoidosis. It is a protocol for multisystem diseases. I guess my siblings could be the poster children for the Marshall protocol, it is better than the heavy duty drugs they have tried to control their dis-ease. I am healthy so I do not take anything, I do take daily things for good health such as the succus of Horsetail for strong bones it has been wonderful for my back. For the psoriasis that will not go away with diet I make a lotion for my sister that is made with the first greens from the Tamarack tree (Larix lanricina) infused in grape seed oil, I add a strong infusion of lavender, aloe and vit E. Mix it as you would mayonnaise, mixing the water infusion and aloe with the oils. It has really helped her skin allot. There are allot of plants that are good if you do not have Tamarack near you there is the root of Wild Sarsaparilla Root (Aralia nudicaulis) and Balm of Gilead buds (populus balsamifera) too.
