Guest guest
I was reading about herbs to help lift ones spirits/mild depression. The most known being St Johns wort but I'm on birth control so that ones out. I ran across Lemon Balm and it said it was also beneficial for fighing cold sores. I thought GREAT-it'd be killing two birds with one stone-then I continued reading and it said it was used also for people with HYPER thyroid. I have HYPO thyroid so that one is out as I am trying to regulate my levels of Levothyroxine. SO does anyone have any other suggestions that won't mess with my birth control or thyroid?? I was hoping once I got going on my thyroid medicine I wouldn't be as down, irritable, and short tempered. Well, not really happening like I wanted so I am looking for something to help me not bite everyones head off! Oh..on a different path my husband suffers from back pain and one website said devils claw works especially well with back pain. Anyone have any experience with that one?? Thank You Very much Desiree
Guest guest
Birth control pills may be part of the cause of your depression/anger/anxiety. They have shown studies, that they decrease sexual libido, and put the body into an unatural state. When hormones are regulated naturally, you get the highs and lows, especially around the fertile time, your feelgood hormones endorphins are released, you get more relaxed, and feel more like being around your husband, as nature intended for a purpose during the fertile time. Natual Family Planning when used correctly is 99% effective method of birth control. Plus, it teaches you and your husband about your body, your cycles, and how to work with the signs your body gives you. You chart your body's responses, which helps you guage. The COUPLE TO COUPLE league has information for everywhere in the US that it is taught. Please consider, it may be exactly what you need to know.
