I have found many articles that suggest that fibromyalgia is simply

subclinical hypothyroidism that has gone undetected due to poor lab

testing.

You can read more here www.drlowe.com <http://www.drlowe.com/> - I cannot

tell you how many stories from real people that I have read that got rid of

their fibromyalgia altogether by taking Armour thyroid...it's truly

amazing, and why aren't doctors using this with all of their patients? It

really bothers me that such a simple fix is not being used by all doctors.

Disease?

I have low thyroid and fibromyalgia; good quality sleep is very

important for fibro and I was having a lot of trouble getting a good

nights sleep until I started using melatonin. After some research, I

started using a 3 mg. sublingual w/B12 (the B12 is supposed to help

somehow). When discussing it with my ND, he suggested I may not need

3 mgs. so I started cutting them in half and found it works just fine.

So, in my case, less was actually better but from what I've read, you

shouldn't take anymore than 3 mgs. As for autoimmune disease, I

personally haven't come across any reference to that. Perhaps you

could ask Dr. Weil @

DrWeil.com

Hope this helps.
