Monday, February 2, 2009, 5:07 PM Hi, Have you tried untreated, raw shea butter? It is a very good moisterizer. You just rub it between your hands to soften it, then onto the face. I use it in my soap too. Cindy C. Guest guest
You might have extreme yin deficiency dryness. You very likely need to drink more water, throughout the day. You could try some raw vegetable and fruit juicing as well. American ginseng might help. Don't get Renshen ginseng, get American ginseng. It's much more yin, which is what I think you probably need. , " drmoratto " <drmoratto wrote: > > When the winter comes, my body itches as if I have needles all over it. > It is difficult to take showers and I am very uncomfortable with this > much itching and burning. > > It drives me nuts. > I know that everything is dryer because of heating and I sleep with a > vaporizer and after the shower I put on either Coconut Oil or Castor > Oil to no avail. > > This is my 2nd year in this one town in NC and I never had it before I > moved here. > > > Any ideas? > Thanks, > Maria >
Guest guest
It may be something as simple as having very hard water. Or, you may need to wash with a soap for sensative, dry skin. Or both! I agree that drinking more water probably couldn't hurt and I would definately check the allergies and especially candida as well. I know when I eat too many carbs or sugar for too long, I get flare-ups of candida and I itch like crazy. You would think we would know better than to do stuff that makes us uncomfortable! Joyfully!
