Guest guest
My 6 year old daughter is sick (AGAIN) this is the 4th time in the last 4 weeks that she has been sick! It's crazy. This time I do not want to put her on more antibiotics again, they are so hard on her tiny little tummy. I hate her pediatrician; he is a fat old man who gives antibiotics out like they are candy. So, my question to you is this? Should I hire a good chiropractic to see her? I just want " Natural " remedies to get my daughter better. She is coughing right now a lot and I can hear phlegm in her chest and throat, and her tonsils are red and swollen and she has a fever. I don't think its strep throat, but it could turn into that soon. She missed school today and she will miss school tomorrow, she has already missed over 30 days of school this year alone.....I don't know what to do; I am at a total loss here. I know her diet isn't that good, she doesn't eat junk, but she just doesn't eat much at all though. Anyway, can you tell me if I should try an alternative treatment for her, or maybe a chiro or what? I don't want to take her back to her old doctor again; I need a good doctor who will figure out why my kids are always so sick all the time. Thanks SO much. Guest guest
Chiros do mostly spinal and bone adjustments. Can she take colloidal silver yet? If she can, i would giver her some under her tongue for 30 seconds to one minute before swallowing. It works real well but not as fast as antibiotics. Guest guest
My son was so sick during the school year. When summer came around, he was healthy again. He missed so much school, we decided to pull him out of school and home school him. He was never sick as much after this. Just the normal once or twice a year cold. The stress on me for always trying to get his makeup work and tests, providing dr. excuses, was all gone. He turned out to be a very bright kid. But, when he was in school, I did have success in using homeopathic remedies with all three of my kids. You can obtain a booklet at a local health food store, or you can google the web and find all kinds of information and even ordering the products. We did go to a chiropractor for falls and various head bumps, but we didn't have a natural health practitioner, so I educated myself and had great success with his health. It sounds like it is time for you to find a new Doc. We had to search high and low to find one doctor who know how to read blood work correctly and wasn't so quick to write a prescription for antibiotics. Guest guest
This is what helps us when we are sick with upper respiratory issues. Colostrum Vitamin C Cod Liver Oil Probiotics Elderberry Stay away from sugar and processed foods, eat lots or raw organic fruits and vegggies. There are a lot of homeopathic and herbal combinations for coughs and upper respiratory sickness. Hope your daughter feels better.
