I was just wondering what I can take I'm 55 and have arthritis and am

finding it harder to get up out of chairs and as the day wears on I am

really aching and hurting in my joints. I had Rheumatic fever as a

child and it affected my heart and my legs My legs ache all the time

especially with weather changes. We are under a big winter storm now

and my legs hurt all night. I live in Ohio and you know how our weather

can be! My doctor wanted me to start physical therapy but was waiting

till the weather breaks a little cause I don't drive in it. I also

can't take any arthritis medication as it is too hard on my esophagus I

have Barrettes Esophagus and they don't even want me taking aspirin.

Any info. would be appreciated!

Thanks,

Donna ACS

So far things I have tried for arthritis, with some good result.  Vicks vapor

rub, rub on pain site, also Watkins Menthol-Camphor rub (similar to vicks),

Biofreeze, Icy Hot,  Ben-Gay.

I am interested in trying Arnica for it, although many use it for acute sprains,

bruising, I wonder how it would be for chronic arthritis pain.

Anyone used Arnica?

Also, please consider taking Geletin (unflavored) mixed in juice 2times a day.

This has been known to help the joints, but you must be consistant!  Keep doing

it.

Also, Cod liver oil, a definate help for the joints.

I have not tried the glucosamene-Condr. yet, I am trying to stay natural.
