Guest guest
Thank you all for your answers. I had taken Iodine but not knowing if I really have hyper or hypo thyroid made me stop it. I still think I have it. Will begin taking it again. I didn't know about the nano particles. Any more info there? As for the insulin stuff, all the tests came normal. BTW, I went to the gastroenterologist today because I can't digest food and he said that I have reflux because I have put a lot of weight. He then told me to stop putting on weight. Hahaha! The amount of idiots we encounter... He wanted to do an anal test to check my colon but I refused. He said it is the only way to check for cancer in the colon. Is this true? What does reflux have to do with colon cancer? He also told me to do a colonoscopy, which I also refused. Can anyone give me a good reason why I need a colonoscopy? If I am convinced, then I will do it. Thanks much, all. Guest guest
Usually I have nothing to say on forums, but today I'm relating to everything... In the " persistent sore throat " message, I shared my experience with gerd. It's a relatively easy fix once you identify the food that your body has a problem with. Hiatal hernia can be an issue, my chiropractor helped fix that, too. I don't know if a colonoscopy is the only way to see if there's anything wrong with your colon but some problems show up as polyps and there's only one way to see those. When we moved to Costa Rica three years ago, we both had colonoscopies for $200 each. Took an hour, you are out, I got to watch my husband's on a big screen. Pretty cool. They were $5,000 in Key West at the time and not covered by insurance so not possible to do before we got here. It was a pretty nothing procedure, no pain, no after effects. The worst was the clean-out process beforehand.
