Guest guest
Does anyone know what this means & what I should do about it? Sometimes, when I'm parking my car or looking behind me, I can hear what sounds like my vertebra or some bones in my back move. I have no pain, stiffness or problem, but I am concerned that I hear this once in a while when I didn't used to hear anything when I turned to look behind me. Is this normal & of no concern, or does it possibly mean discs between my vertebrae are getting too dry? If it means discs are getting dry, what should I do to correct this? Does exercising the back help or hurt this? Karen **************Make your life easier with all your friends, email, and favorite sites in one place. Try it now. Guest guest
Often happens to me too. Go to a chiropractor and get your spine adjusted. Melly
Guest guest
> Sometimes, when I'm parking my car or looking behind me, I can hear what sounds like my vertebra or some bones in my back move. For the past three or four months, I have heard the bones in my neck popping when I turn my head, just sometimes, not always. I finally figured out it was my purse - I wear it across my body (it's a regular bag with a long strap). Sometimes it gets heavy... I went to my chiropractor a few times, switched to a small backpack/purse, trying to be conscious of keeping it lighter, and the problem is gone. Sometimes it's the simple things... took me months to figure out it was my purse. Duh. It's odd because I've worn my purse like this for years, I always buy basically the same purse. But I now work at a desk so maybe because that is different (and I'm older?) my physical abilities/requirements are different. Who knows? But no noise now...
