Guest guest
Thanks Jim, I am taking magnesium. It is made of nano particles. I am not sure it is working for me because I have no idea what magnesium does. And I have started with Vit. D3 today as well, though a friend is adamant that I not take it because if I have hypothyroid it is going to destroy my body. There are too many contradicting info out there and when someone is as desperate as I am, I think about trying everything. It just occurred to me that the papaya enzime I take for digestion as calcium in it and I wonder if it is the culprit of this. I am also reading that higher levels of calcium in the blood may be responsible for hyperparathyroidism which nobody talks about and of course which causes indigestion! What I know is that there is something out of whack in my body that is giving me all sorts of " side effects. " I am still trying to find out what, since the nice MDs don't know squat. I give you an example: I went to an endo who said that I have hyperthyroid based on my borderline TSH. Then I take tapazole for a month and give up. Well, after doing some research, I decided to differ for no one with hyperthyroid puts on 1 lb/month (so far about 50 lbs!). So I tell her: this can't be right or how do you explain the weight gain? And then she says: well, it has to be something with your metabolism. Hello? What do endocrinologists do? Then I have another blood test to check all the thyroid hormones. They come back as normal. And she says: continue with the tapazole. Now, if the results come back normal, why should I take the tapazole? Not doing it. I usually don't take drugs and now I am going to another MD. Tomorrow I am doing some blood tests to check my parathyroid. Of course, I requested the exams and Monday I am going to a gastroenterologist. I am totally lost! Guest guest
Many health conscious people I know avoid all products with nano particles. No studies have ever been conducted as to long term safety. Alobar On 12/11/08, drmoratto <drmoratto wrote: > Thanks Jim, > > I am taking magnesium. It is made of nano particles.
