Transdermal Magnesium

Hi Maria:

There are several good sources for magnesium oils that can be used

transdermally, but I use a product called Magnesium Gel from Global

Lights Network http://www.globallight.net/

<http://www.globallight.net/>because I like the feel of it. It is a

mild astringent much like an after shave.

Applying it is simple: After you shower, you simple put a dab on your

hand, rub your hands together and rub it into your skin. It is absorbed

best in areas where the skin is thin, like under your arms and on the

instep of your feet, but you will absorb it well everywhere compared to

taking it orally. If you have a sore neck of back rub more there

(don't know why, but it seems to help).

The key is not to over apply, since it feels oily at first. This makes

sense even though it is not oily. Just like swimming in the ocean makes

you feel oily, the gel can too if it is over-applied.

Another good way to get magnesium transdermally is to take a bath or

even a foot bath in epsom salts. Both can be very relaxing in addition

to the uptake of magnesium.

The good news is that a bottle of the magnesium gel lasts for as much as

four months... a very cheap treatment.

The great thing about Transdermal magnesium is that it allows the body

to self-balance according to the book, Transdermal Magnesium Therapy

ef=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8 & s=books & qid=1229032956 & sr=1-1>

by Dr. Mark Sircus and Adam, E Abraham.

Most everyone can benefit from more magnesium. If you want to see just

how important magnesium can be, read the website by Dr. Shealy

http://www.magnesiumforlife.com/transdermalmagnesium.shtml. For a very

comprehensive book on magnesium, generally, read " The Magnesium

Factor " by Seelig/ Rosanoff.

Kind Regards, JIm
