Guest guest
How much C are you taking? I take C to bowel tolerance. http://www.doctoryourself.com/titration.html When I have a serious cold, I have gone as high as 75 grams a day, in many many small doses. Vitamin D is good for flu. I take a tablepoon of cod liver oil daily when I am not sickly.Easier to prevent problems than cure them. I hope you are not using any drug store cold remedies. They dry out phlegm so the body has a much harder time purging the gunk it wants to be rid of, so colds linger and linger. Likewise I hope you are not smoking, and you are getting lots of good bedrest every day. Guest guest
I've just got rid of a feverish bug that has been laying people out around here - and laying them out for a week or more. Mine started to be felt at 9pm on Sunday and was cured by the following morning - yesterday - (though I admit I felt very fragile for most of the following day) Partly the answer is how quickly you get to the bug - and also how intense your intervention. What I did was make myself a small thermos of colloidal silver using my silver maker and some distilled water (though I'll use ordinary tap water if I have to) - and also a pint of tap water into which I put about 8-10 drops of potassium iodide. I usually use vitamin C powder (2-3 grams per 2-3 hours) but for some reason didn't this time - but I did have a few grams. Anyway, that combination was very effective. The next morning I had a soak in a bath with a cup of epsom salts to help me recuperate and by later afternoon the next day was almost up to speed. And this worked despite the fact that I am clearly at a low ebb as I have just had a very bad earache (which I got rid of using my colloidal silver water).
