Killing that dentist is too good for him! I did a similar stupid thing..

now 10 yrs later I have a space where that " bridge " used to be...my dentist

didn't seat the bridge properly and one tooth rotted away at the gum line..

so they sawed off the bridge leaving one tooth in the back and the gaping

hole. Grrrrrr.....yes death to the stupid dentists.

How bout an alternative now that I've had my root canal pulled and replaced

with a bridge.

I was horrified when I found out, too late, that it involves grinding the

two adjacent teeth to

toothpick nubs and half the bridge is metal although the, ahem, well meaning

dentist did

tell me the metal was platinum. What quality? how safe is that? He didn't

tell me that bridges, in time, often fail. I could kill him when I think I

could have gotten a Maryland

bridge which doesn't hurt other teeth. Any thoughts on this or experiences??
