Guest guest Report post Posted November 8, 2008 My old-reliable herb books suggest ginseng to help get over a cough. Would have to be a child's dose. -- Maria -------------- Original message -------------- " deb3857wick " <deborah.harper My 5 year old Grandson has developed a terrible cough. He was exposed to whooping cough, but his lab work came back negative. Can anyone suggest something " safe " to give him for his cough? Guest guest Report post Posted November 9, 2008 I take a tea called Breath Easy and another called Gypsy Cold Care when I am coughing badly. They are manufactured by Traditional Medicinals. They have mint, licorice, fennel and ginseng in them among other herbs. They are actually tasty either fresh brewed or chilled. I like to put some honey and lemon in it as well.
