Guest guest Posted October 22, 2008 Report Share Posted October 22, 2008 I went through a very painful period of severe constipation many years ago when I was very stressed and my solar plexus had a lot of tension. This needs to relax by massage or breathing into the belly. For me (I still get short periods of constipation) the following seem to work: Warm (almost hot) water (big glass) . I'd say no cold liquids. Broccoli works for me. A big portion. (Or similar fibrous food). Also I massage my abdomen if I need it. Clockwise working into any painful areas.
