Guest guest
What vitamin/mineral supplement do you suggest? I want one without iron since I'm 58 and have read that many people (men & older women) have too much iron and this contributes to heart attacks. I have read that magnesium oxide is not good for you, that magnesium citrate is much better. And I have read that calcium carbonate is harmful or not a good source of calcium. Centrum and other vitamins at regular stores all have magnesium oxide and calcium carbonate. Does anyone know of a great vitamin/mineral that isn't too expensive where you only have to take one a day? Thanks in advance for your suggestions. Guest guest
You are looking for a magic pill that doesn't exist. The body requires nutrients throughout the day so any quality nutritional will recommend you take it 2 or 3 times per day. In order for 1 pill to contain all a person needs in a day would mean taking a pill that's too large to swallow. Personally I prefer liquid or pills, as I've tried both and find the liquid supplements are much more readily absorbed by the body.
