Guest guest
Years ago, I rubbed about 2 drops of peppermint essential oil on my abdomen daily to handle constipation and then I never had a problem again. Guest guest
Aloe capsules or aloe juice (down it with some applejuice added to it as the stuff tastes nasty!) are both VERY effective also capsules of psylium husks. I'm hesitant to recommend senna or cascara sagrada to anyone(even tho they work) as your body can become reliant on either if you have to take it for an extended period of time. Once the problem is taken care of you want to be able to maintain regularity. To do that you need to increase your fiber intake (I eat oatbran or oatmeal and an apple or some applesauce but you can choose whatever fiber source you like) Also - as nutty as they sound those Activia commercials are right in that yogurt will help keep you regular. It doesnt necessarily have to be Activia. I use Stonyfield Farms and that is just as effective. Eat a few spoonfuls every day. Hope that helps the problem! Guest guest
A tablespoon of concentrated tart cherry juice from Swanson Vitamins will do the trick in the short run. As several have indicated here, chances are that you need to revamp your entire diet and get some exercise. This is not a sign of good health. Guest guest
It doesn't work for everyone, but I have a couple of tablespoons of flax oil and some water in the morning. I use the Omega Works cold pressed flax oil in the 8 oz. white bottle with the blue label. Once opened it should be refrigerated. It doesn't have the rancid taste you get with opening flax oil capsules. You can find it some super-markets and on line for around $10 a bottle. It's completely natural and stimulates the bowel due to the very fine microscopic grittiness of the oil (you can't see or taste any grit). My wife's surgeon recommended flax oil after surgery to relieve constipation without any of the explosive effects of laxatives. Guest guest
Hi Enji, I really understand where you are coming from. Like you, my son suffered severe constipation. After years of frustration we learned a gentle massaging technique on specific reflexology points on his feet that brought him the most relief of all. It's a little book with big results. http://www.reflexologyestore.com/constipationbk.php Best wishes for you. Guest guest
SALT WATER FLUSH: Drink an oral salt water enema upon arising. To do this, add 2 level teaspoons of uniodized sea salt to a quart of lukewarm water (the one-quart juice bottles in which most organic juices come work very well). Shake well, then drink the entire quart. It's also good to massage the colon as well. Make sure you use uniodized sea salt; regular or iodized salt will not have the same beneficial effect. This oral enema will flush out your entire digestive tract and colon from top to bottom, usually within an hour, prompting you to eliminate several times, clearing out the plaque and debris from the walls, and the parasites that have been living there. , " Bob " <bobspez wrote: > > It doesn't work for everyone, but I have a couple of tablespoons > of flax oil and some water in the morning.
