Guest guest
http://www.pyroenergen.com:80/articles08/cancerous-diseases.htm by: Junji Takano Oh, yes, I remember. One year ago, a candy called White Rabbit Creamy Candy sold in the Philippines was said to be contaminated with formalin, a toxic matter mainly used as disinfectant and for preservation of organic specimens. In fact, I bought it, and when we learned through TV and local newspapers that the candy is harmful to health, I threw all the remained candy. A TV news program said that the candy is imported from China and it is made in China. Later, we heard that other food products from China were also contaminated with formalin. We were informed by Japanese TV news that rice, noodles, cakes, bread, vegetables and other products imported to Japan from China was contaminated with toxic chemicals usually used as insecticides in the farm. These Chinese products were pulled out from thousands of supermarkets and convenience stores. However, many of them are already consumed by the public. Many were also hospitalized and a few lost their lives. About a year ago, chinaware was banned, because the paints used contain toxic elements such as zinc and lead. And again, sales of shirts, toys, and plastic products imported from China were ceased because they were also considered dangerous for public use. Yes, zinc and lead and of course, other toxic elements were present. In the US, TV news and newspapers mentioned the same and banned them.. Most plastic products, cell phones, electronic products and many others were inspected and held by the customs as unsafe. Some people in Japan died and many were hospitalized. Many of us stopped buying Chinese products. We are now afraid of toxic elements in Chinese products. Today, many Chinese in China are affected from melamine contents in milk products. Many are hospitalized and a number of young lives were taken.. Milk products made in China are widely scattered around the world. We understand that some locally made foods are used and contain Chinese milk.. How can we know the difference? According to the world news, the Chinese government had rejected Japanese complaints about the toxic matters in their products, saying that the harmful chemicals were inserted in Japan. However, they cannot deny it anymore, because these troubles occurred within China. How many years did the Chinese government try to deny it? Now, Chinese milk scandal is escalating around the world, and the Chinese government worries for supply of daily food needed by common families. More than 53,000 children are affected and more than 15,000 are hospitalized. More than a hundred are in serious and critical conditions! If the Chinese government accepted the incidents long time ago, the people of China should be able to avoid the scandals and food poisoning problem. On a side note, a few days ago, I learned that in 1972, President Richard Nixon was given a bag of candy during his visit to China. It was White Rabbit Creamy Candy. Report says that the candy was contaminated with industrial chemical melamine. I like to believe that the candy was not handed to Richard Nixon! I wonder why the incident was not published when it happened. Is it because of political reason? We really stopped buying China products since a month ago. Do you like Chinese products? Be wise before you decide on buying China products. Oh, yes, world news on TV says that many business establishments are moving to Vietnam nowadays. Hope that the same trouble won't happen in Vietnam in the future. However, I received information few weeks ago that Vietnam rice arrived to Osaka, Japan contained toxic insecticide. Wow, wow, we really do not know when all governments will realize the big mistake committed since then.
