Guest guest
My daughter just got 10 stitches in her forehead and I'm wondering what suggestions people have for preventing or minimizing a scar. I read once that lavender can make a scar disappear. Has anyone had a success with this? How soon after the stitches should lavender or whatever is suggested, be used? Thanks in advance for your thoughts and experiences with scars. Karen **************Looking for simple solutions to your real-life financial challenges? Guest guest
Hi Karen, Sangre de Drago (dragon's blood) is a tree sap from the Amazon with amazing wound healing properties. It can be used while the stitches are still there and afterwards until it's completely healed. It is loaded with anti-oxidants that help rebuild the collagen and avoid scaring. I have used it for so many things I've lost track. Wounds (even serious ones), bites, burns, acne - even for my teeth and gums. It is a dark reddish brown - so best to use it at night and then you can wash it off in the morning before she goes anywhere. It won't stain skin, but it will fabric. I would definitely give it a try.
