I work in an atmosphere (out door snack bar) that is subject to

mosquitoes and many more insects. I have Pic Coils going for 6 - 8

hours or I would be so badly bitten as the mosquitoes just dive bomb

anxious to get a meal. The smoking coils do control the mosquitoes but

I am wondering how being exposed to the smoke for that length of time,

6 days a week, for approximately 3 months of the year, if it can be

harmful to the respirtory system. I do have asthma. I do notice I

cough at times and my clothes and hair do smell of the smoke as well as

my carry bags. I think I do know the answer, but don't know what else

I can use. There is no way I can handle the OFF bug spray. I think it

is gross and smells so bad. It bothers my eyes and breathing. Any

suggestions would be welcome.

There are lots of essential oils that help repel mosquitoes.

Pennyroyal, peppermint, tea tree, eucalyptus. There are also

commercial blends you can find at most health food stores.
