Guest guest
Yes ... I picked up on this one as well, I'm 56 and have a fairly good set of choppers, I floss my teeth twice daily, but I also use a waterpic which I find in-valuable ... even after " flossing " , the waterpic will remove other debris ... I have a dental bridge that was fitted over 20 years ago, and it really needs to be removed as one of the anchor teeth is playing up but at a cost of over $2000 I've been putting it off for some 7 years now - thanks to my waterpic, ya can also use a weak solution of hydrogen peroxide with it. Guest guest
I don't believe a word of it. My mouth would be full of rotting food stuck between my teeth if I did not floss, I have just enough space between some of my teeth to catch all kinds of things. What they state happens when flossing is what would happen in my mouth if I did not floss. I do agree that we do not need fluoride, I drank well water while growing up and my teeth are fine. Also the person who wrote web page this needs a proof reader. I am not a prefect typist or speller but if I was trying and pass off what I thought was important information I would be careful to spell correctly and fix my typing errors. Which I myself make plenty of, I ask friends to proof read my web site. From the web page http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/teeth1.php " Do Not Get Your Teeth Cleaned & Do Not Floss Your Teeth! Do get your teeth cleaned by the dentist, nor floss yourteeth. The reason is because cleaning the teeth and flossing does a great deal of damage to the gums, causing small tears and fissures, which results in swelling, inflammation, redness, and possibly abcesses and other gum problems. Guest guest
How or why does that create a problem for you Dave? Personally I was surprised by that but as I have never liked flossing, was pleased. blessings Shan Posted by: " Dave Hermanson " _moonphish _ (moonphish?Subject= Re:%20how%20to%20care%20for%20your%20teeth...) _moonphish_65 _ (http://profiles./moonphish_65) Mon Jul 28, 2008 6:30 am (PDT) Does anyone have any comments on the article How to Care for your Teeth where it says not to floss??? Guest guest
A water pic combined with xylitol toothpaste and mouthwash plus the sonicare toothbrush did away with the need for teeth cleaning and flossing for me and I make plenty of plaque... to the point that I used to have to have my teeth cleaned every three months or I could not get floss through them. Guest guest
We are all different as our finger prints, no one persons chemistry is the same. I was once told that healthy teeth are a result of healthy gums. When I can I use a mixture of Golden Seal , Murr, (sea salt) and baking soda with a tad of hydrogen peroxide mixed in water. Cheers! --- In , " Katu " <seaweeds wrote: > > I don't believe a word of it. Guest guest
Use waterpik then. Also GUM now comes with very thin brushes that can be used in between teeth. Melly
