Guest guest
Nigari is used for making tofu, so it passes health regulations. What does " organic " mean when nigari is made from seawater? Nigari is Magnesium Chloride from the ocean. Does it have impurities? I sure have no way to test it. But since people have been bathing and swimming in the ocean since before recorded history, I am not concerned. Nigari is Magnesium Chloride. Nothing else. How much Magnesium is in a saturated water solution depends on the temperature. More goes into solution at warmer temperatures. Guest guest
Sorry that but that too simplistic for me. When you get a high concentration of something such as magnesium chloride in sea water or anthing it has to be processed in some way. How it is processed makes a lot of difference, as what is used in processing goes into the final product. And these days that something is classified as food means very very little, if anything. Surely you know what is in food these days? certainly there is a lot that was not in food 50 years ago and is not there naturally [like high mercury content plus other metals, many chemicals, etc ). Also all sea water is not the same - for example, magnesium chloride from the the Salt Lakes in Utah has a high mercury content and is not safe to use. Maybe you don't care what goes into your body but I do and so do many others - both those whom don't wish to get ill and those whom wish to get healthy. But there are some people out there whom don't care or can't be bothered to find and use the healthiest things - in my opinion they just have never been sick enough to be motivated. And responsible companies with nothing to hide do test for impurities these days and pass that info along. Not all companies are as immoral and uncaring of their customers as the drug companies. Nor do we have to take whatever garbage is out there. Well is it good I guess that you don't care about what goes into your body but if you are going by history, you might as well be blind and dumb. Or haven't you heard that water is polluted these days by many different things and not even the same levels of various pollutants in different places? We are not living in the same conditions as 50 years ago nor even 30 years ago and all places in the world have never been the same in any case. Guest guest
What proof do you have that the expensive forms of Magnesium chloride are processed any differently? Maybe you have lots of free cash to buy the most expensive supplements on the market, but I need to be selective about what I spend my money on. Your comment " you don't care about what goes into your body " is not only wrong but insulting. What gives you the right to attack me like that? Are you financially connected to the folks selling the high price Magnesium Chloride? Alobar On 7/10/08, Shan <bestsurprise2002 wrote: > Sorry that but that too simplistic for me.
