Responses to acupuncture

Hi,

 

I'm wondering if anyone can tell me what are typical responses to

acupuncture. I am just starting treatment for whiplash. Is it normal

for acupuncture to aggravate an injury before it gets better? What

should I expect and how will I know I'm responding positively to the

treatment?
