Guest guest
Hi Jim ...I have heard that Muscadine Juice is healthful for diabetes. Also, you can find a lot of good info from www.naturalnews.com. ~Debbie Jim <huuman60 Tuesday, July 1, 2008 9:43:48 AM << >> Re: Type II Diabetes I have several good friends with Diabetes. Guest guest
Do not follow the diet the docs push. Zap the carbs. No grains, no bread, no sweet fruits like bananas, orange juice, etc. Get vitamins and minerals thru supplements. There are many herbs and neutraceuticals which help regular blood glucose levels and reverse insulin resistance. After doing research and changing my diet and supplement routine I stopped taking the diabetic drug (glyburide) the doc prescribed. When I was diagnosed with diabetes my fasting blood sugar was over 360. I was told I would never be able to stop taking diabetic meds. Now, 7 years later, my fasting blood glucose levels are stable and under 125 most days. Diabetic meds are cheaper than supplements, and not covered by health insurance. But many of the so-called " diabetic complication " like kidney failure, liver failure, heart disease are better labeled as complications arising from taking diabetic drugs. For a list of what supplements I take, see my blog post here: http://alobar.livejournal.com/2790171.html Alobar On 7/1/08, Jim <huuman60 wrote: > I have several good friends with Diabetes. My HBA1C stays well within in the normal range. I use 1/4 tsp of cinnamon in the mornings as well as 200mgs of chromium during the day. Probably the most significant thing I do to keep my glucose stable is walk 3 miles a day, eat a high fiber diet, and
