Guest guest
Promote eyebrow growth?? I would like to know the answer as well. Guest guest
I am 64 and I have bushy eyebrows with rapid growth of eyebrow hair. Part is probably due to my Eastern European heritage, but I suspect diet has a lot to do with it as well. Alobar On 6/18/08, gail raby <amberflame wrote: > Promote eyebrow growth?? Guest guest
Hi Gail, It could be your thyroid? Thinning of the outer edges of the eyebrow can be a low thyroid symptom. This site has a list of other hypothyroid symptoms and is a good site to start your reading if you do think you have thyroid problems: http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/long-and-pathetic/ I'd also like to know what is the cause of the lower half of the eyebrow just " going away " as you age. Guest guest
If you mean that your eyebrows are getting shorter width-wise, someone told me that it was a symptom of hypothyroidism, which I have. Guest guest
I've read that thinning or losing some of your eyebrows is caused by low thyroid and I'm an example of that, if it's true. > Promote eyebrow growth?? Guest guest
I would say the hormones are causing it. In older age our hormones are no longer in balance. I no longer have to shave my legs, the hair is gone. Diane In a message dated 6/21/2008 10:35:52 A.M. Guest guest
Older age does not cause hormone imbalance. But our bad lifestyle and dietary choices do tend to exacerbate as we age. At age 64, I am as hairy as I was at age 20. Alobar On 6/21/08, Boonight <Boonight wrote: > > I would say the hormones are causing it. In older age our hormones are no > longer in balance. Guest guest
When we go through pre-menopause and menopause we have hormone imbalances. Also some people will get hairier and others get hair loss. That's why Gyno. doctors try to push estrogen hormone therapy on women. I would never take it. Older men have deceased Testosterone. When we get older everything decreases like our pineal gland producing less melantonin. With lower melantonin we sleep less. Diane In a message dated 6/25/2008 4:31:57 P.M.
