Vitamin C

http://www.mothernature.com/Library/Bookshelf/Books/10/44.cfm

Doctors who recommend vitamin C to people at risk for cataracts suggest from 500 to 3,000 milligrams a day. (Some people may experience diarrhea when taking more than 1,200 milligrams of vitamin C daily.) "Research has yet to determine an optimum amount of vitamin C to take to prevent cataracts, but studies do show that the concentration of vitamin C in the lens continues to increase as people move into the 500-milligram range," says Dr. Taylor.

I use

mostly eastern Chinese herbs. I don’t want to recommend any because I

don’t truly know your issues, plus any other sx. I would go to a local

Doctor for some Acupuncture, herbs and nutritional

recommendation.

Also, urine may be used as eyedrops to cure cataracts.

Fresh urine can be dropped in the eyes and ears or even to flush nose and sinuses. By doing so, cataract, ear and sinus disease can be healed.

Hi - I'm new to the group but wanted to add that I was diagnosed with

a small cataract last week at the age of 44. My doctor told me

vitamin c, sunglasses and sun visor to protect my eyes and face from

the sun would help. She didn't mention anything else. Christal

There is an anecdotal story (2) about two different people ridding themselves

accidentally of cataracts when they were splashed with coconut water in their

eyes. Visit website of coconuttraditions.com

Having been diagnosed with early cataracts in both eyes I did a lot of research.

I found significantly increasing your intake of antioxidants was a possible way

to reverse cataracts.

Also found some eyedrops that are said to reverse cataracts:

I am in no way affiliated with those who sell the eyedrops. But I have used

them.

I think I am seeing clearer but have not been back to the eye doctor yet to be

checked.

Good luck to you,
