Hello, I am new to this group and I was looking at the file,

" Psychiatric symptoms caused by common drugs " and I noticed that one

of the medications I had stopped a few months ago was listed. It was

the beta-blocker Atenolol. Now I am only 22 years old and I had only

been on a small dosage of Atenolol for a few months. I felt I was

incorrectly treated as they were given for panic attacks. I did my

research and decided to take myself off of it. I did so gradually of

course. Now my question is, since I took this medication before, do

the symptoms that came along with it still exist with me? I have been

living with depression, hypochondria, and anxiety since I was a young

teenager.

my opinion is after you stop taking the drug; the side effects you

werer experiencing will go away; and there will be no drug in system;

you do want to control your anxiety issues; I use Valerian Root alot.---
