Hello all, here is the information from my patient who has direct contact with someone in the government working on recommendations to produce this legislation.............. The Bill has yet to be sent to Committee so they haven't had time to look at it in details. Members of the Committee will have a briefing from the department shortly and the analysts will have more information after that meeting. The initial assessment, however, is that a lot of the fears are not justified. Vitamins and supplements prescribed and sold by physicians are apparently not at all the target of this legislation. The legislation has yet to be referred to Committee and it will take quite a long time to go through the legislative process.There will be ample opportunity for input from interested parties. Anyone who would like to appear before the Committee, can contact the clerk.
