Guest guest
Linda, I have been reading about EFT and plan to start practicing with the use of the manual provided on the website. I was wondering if you tried using EFT with just the manual and what benefits you experienced with the DVDs over just using the manual. Thanks, Joy ________________________________ On Behalf Of LindaGoldstein Thursday, April 10, 2008 10:20 AM Re: << >> Dr. Mercola, Inner Circle No, but I have not bought any of Mercola's DVD's but did buy Gary Craig's DVD's for EFT and I've found them to be incredible. I now do EFT for so many things and it really helps. THAT is well worth the price I paid for the 8 DVD's and 1 CD. Guest guest
Joy and all at Forum, I found that the EFT Manual alone didn't really give me the full idea of how to do EFT. I needed to see it actually being done. The Set Up statement is important--I found that the actual problem you want to tap for might change... I might start with one statement and do tapping for that, but discover that a deeper issue comes up. Fear of rejection might be an example -- and that topic was too broad so I went deeper into early memories of situations of rejection and fear that happened in the past. That worked to tap for that. I tapped around my co-dependent issues with my husband as well. Incidentally, I have been working with co-dependent behaviors and a desire to move creatively past this way of being in the world. I am doing this successfully and do not feel near as much pull to people please which was a compulsive behavior. I moved past a long standing phobia of driving over bridges which put me into panicy attacks. I NO LONG have this problem at ALL and drive easily over any bridge. That is how powerful this is. I needed to watch the DVD's over and over to really get it and now I've memorized sequences, etc., I can do this in my sleep. I actually did it in bed a couple of times when I had an issue come up. You will know when you are finished tapping for that particular issue because it feels really different when you have done multiple rounds with the tapping. I hope this answers your question. I know Mercola has done a video or two on EFT and I printed that out, but it was not enough to get me going without the DVD's. Maybe the Manual would be enough for some folks. Once you sign up for the Gary Craig blog you get new blogs all the time automatically and those give good examples of things you can tap for and insight into how to deal with issues that are not clear. Every new blog has new situations which are quite interesting. That, by the way, is free. Just go to Gary Craig's website. Guest guest
Thank you Linda and others who have posted info on EFT. I do to the blog and have been busily printing out and reading articles that I feel are relevant to me. I think I will give the DVD purchase some more serious thought.
