Guest guest
Hi Kris, A couple of possibilities come to mind. IBS is number one. Few mainstream doctors are skilled in its management. Fortunately that is changing somewhat. Secondly this type of pain is felt my many with hepatitis C even though doctors say that the liver can not feel pain. I would suggest then that he have a simple blood test for hep-C if he hasn't had that done. Secondly he should see a good natural practitioner who specializes in IBS, CFS, fibromyalgia and the like. A proper detoxification, allergy identification, and fiber therapy may help. BTW, I suffered from both IBS and hep-C for years. I am doing quite well now. Guest guest
You have not been in the right doctor's office, obviously. Have you seen a good MD (Internist)? You should get copies of all previous tests and take them along to the Board-Certified Internist the first visit. If you don't feel improved the FIRST visit, STOP, tell that doctor why and find a doctor doing Integrative Medicine (MD/ND/DO). You should expect and receive improvement at the first visit or something was missed... , " dizzy6922485 " <dizzy6922485 wrote: > > OK... Guest guest
Have they checked his gallbladder and hepatic ducts? Any other symptoms besides just pain? Does he work out at the gym, lift weights? Does your friend have normal bowl movements? Lots of unknowns about your friend. , " dizzy6922485 " <dizzy6922485 wrote: > > OK... Guest guest
, LindaGoldstein wrote: > > Has his gallbladder been checked? I suppose it probably has been. You can also get an obstruction in the bile ducts of the liver that can cause pain in that general area. A friend had her gallbladder surgically removed 10 months ago with continuing pain in that area. I researched her situation via internet. As it turns out many people post removal of gallbladders continue to have pain on the right side. Doctors are quick to remove the gallbladder and in most cases it should be removed. I do not know if your friend's problem is related to gallbladder issues, and I suppose he has had CT, ultrasound or MRI already. But if the gallbladder has not been looked into, that is a possible source. People who have gallstone in the gallbladder or stones in the liver could do a gallbladder / liver flush. There are many computer sites that give information on how to do that. Good luck. > > Linda
Guest guest
Michael, You said " ...used white soap and basil for cleansing " . Did you use the basil with water as rinse? Or did you make basil tea and drink it or did you eat the leaves, or did you use the basil leaves as scrub? Thanks. Melly
