Guest guest
and I have three weeks to go. I am icing the area and stretching it as well as resting it as much as possible, but does anyone have any other suggestions? When I checked old messages, I found a reference to bromelian which I shall try to find here in London where I am vacationing, but any other suggestions would be most appreciated. Guest guest
I have witnessed a great success story in dealing with a very painful case of PF. First you should balance your pH. Hardly anyone mentions in the literature that PF can sometimes be aggravated by or associated with acidity in the body. In other words: " gout " . A friend had developed PF to the point that both heels were hurting as well as all the other usual places on the lower legs as described on Internet sites. My friend took two tablespoons of Km morning and evening, holding it under the tongue to get it into the bloodstream. Canadian/French product. It does not have a pleasant taste but after the first week it is not so bad. Your taste buds adjust. It was a 32 oz bottle of Km. By the time he had finished the first bottle the pains were gone. This is a combination of herbs and minerals that will help to alkalize you. The mfr of Km is found at <http://www.matol.com/> www.matol.com. Something else that alkalizes your body even faster IMHO is " Buffer pH " by Vaxa. This product and literature may be available at a good health food store in London or via the Internet. Use test strips to test your urine each morning so you don't overdo it. Alkalizing while sleeping is alleged to be especially beneficial. Just google and you will find the web site with good info. My friend who developed PF has always maintained a high meat and rice diet. A body builder guy. Those who like a high protein low carb diet must take measures to alkalize themselves since this kind of diet will acidify the body - something Dr Atkins missed. My friend also eventually changed his footwear -- but from the start he did the stretching morning and evening. A doctor (who plays competitive tennis) recommended to him to change to the " K-Swiss " brand of tennis shoe. My friend had been wearing a very cheap tennis shoe. The K-Swiss brand of tennis shoe is sold in footwear/athlete specialty stores or via the Internet. While at the health food store also look for Pycnogenol - grape seed or maritime pine bark extract. These contain some impressive anti-inflammatories and improve blood circulation, etc. I have seen these yield first night results with pain and soreness as well as eliminate worst case varicose veins in nine months. Take 200 mg of the extract with some Vit C and Vit E simultaneously. Guest guest
- Several years ago when I had plantar fasciitis, my chiropractor told me to get a golf ball and roll my foot (arch) area on the ball and also use my thumb to stretch those arch ligaments by pressing hard and going up and down arch. I also wear orthotics and I haven't had any more problems. Really need to do these things consistently and hopefully your arches haven't fallen permenently, which I don't know if there is a remedy for that.
