Guest guest
Hello, all. I have had them for the past few months. I have researched online, but found nothing solid for herbal or whatever not. Does anyone have any suggestions to get rid of them and prevent them from coming back? Any help is much appreciated. Much Thx. Lucy
Guest guest
Dear Lu, Not being exactly sure what a chalazion was I did a quick internet search and found: http://healthcenter.ucdavis.edu/topics/styes.html http://www.emedicinehealth.com/chalazion_lump_in_eyelid/article_em.ht m http://www.goodhope.org.uk/departments/eyedept/lidlumps.htm From the description- it basically sounds like the same mechanism of an ABSCESS. Homeopathically I have found great relief with and would suggest looking into: Homeopathic Belladonna which is great for abscesses and is a favorite for eye issues. As well as Homepathic Silicea and Homeopathic Hepar Sulphar- both help with pockets of pus. Here is a homeopathic repetory listing: http://www.hpathy.com/repertory/boericke/general.asp#abscess Here is a homeopathic materia medica: a means to find out what the remedies cover- but remember they always list the worst case scenarios- if you had all of these symptoms, this drastically- you would likely be on your death bed. Just want to find one or two key symptoms that best describe your unique experience of your challenge. Though the more complete the picture, the better the match, the better the results. Just VERY unlikely you will relate to the extremes of the extremes lised. http://www.hpathy.com/materiamedica/index_b.asp And that is also why it is good to see a profestional when needing help- though alternative medicine can be a self-empowering experience. ps- I trust you have done the warm compress idea? Perhaps add salt to the warm water? I would also highly suggest that you check out www.acnehealingoil.com for a healing oil that will help. It is completely safe to put around the eye. You can find homeopathic remedies in your health food store or on- line. Best Wishes, DesertSkyNM , " lu_magick " <lu_magick wrote: > > Hello, all. > > I have had them for the past few months. Guest guest
well, when this all started, like, several yrs ago...I researched that RoseWater was good to " eye-patch " on my eye...it helped, but not much. I looked on line for herbal things to cure it...and well, it didn't seem the right thing to do...didn't want to go expensive, neither. I never heard of using Belladonna...but I will look into it. the chalazions are under the eye lid...so I don't think I will do the salt this with the compress. and with the compress, I am not too sure if I should " push " on my eyelid with the really hot wash cloth or what, ya know? so I will look into what you have suggested. I hope others have experienced this and wonder if they have cures to them. Thx! Guest guest
Dear Lu Magick, The oil I was suggesting to you costs $14.95 which includes shipping. So not a wallet hog at all! http://www.acnehealingoil.com As far as the salt compress- that is incredibly cheap and is no worse than going into the ocean. Just keep your eye shut. Just to clarify you want HOMEOPATHIC belladonna- the herbal form- which I am not even sure you can get, but never can be too safe to mention is poisonious/potentially deadly. From the links I provided previously they were rather specific that you should not try to pop the chalazion. And I am glad our group can be of assistance- it is very likely you will get many more suggestions in addition to mine and Katu's. Guest guest
, " lu_magick " I had a white colored bump(pimple), up inside my eyelid for 4 months Right before " that-time-of-the-month " my eyelid would swell up alot. Then I got one on my bottom eyelid. I did some research. I brewed some green tea, & put it in my eye 2x. Next morning bottom bumps was gone, & the one up inside, I took a Q-tip & wiped the white stuff right out. Dawn
