Guest guest
Moderator's Note: Dear Wendy, Congratulations on choosing a course of action. I was wondering if you would indulge a question of mine?.. How did you decide this was the course of action for you? I am sure it is perfectly valid and worthwhile. Just a little more challenging perhaps. Maybe not. Again, perfectly valid and worthwhile- just wondering what " connected " to you about this? Thank you for your time in advance.. DesertSkyNM --------- Hi, everyone, I appreciate all who replied when I asked about treatment for floaters. I came upon this website using Chinese herbal treatment and was wondering if anyone could make sense out of it? And where I could find the supplements mentioned? I do frequent Liver and Kidney detoxes. http://www.itmonline.org/arts/floaters.htm Thank you- Wendy
Guest guest
Dear Wendy, Actually, I am curious as to why THESE herbs? I mean I completely agree herbs work, but finding unusual chinese herbs is not as simple as doing an eye wash with eyebright. This must have been very convincing to you that this is the right path.. Was it the philosophy? The history of chinese herbs? The fact that chinese herbal medicine is a whole system? Maybe the exoticness?? Again, all valid and good.. Just curious to know what spoke to you about this website/chinese herbs.. You really connected to it, and I admire that conviction. Thank you for your patience with me in these questions.. Be Well, DesertSkyNM ------------ I use herbs and believe in them, I use them even with my three Airedale Terriers. I have read a lot on herbs and their treatments, it just makes sense to me to use them, and now I am trying to figure how to use them for my eye floaters. I realize that my floaters are an off balance in my body, to treat it would be to treat the body as a whole. Thanks for asking, hopefully I answered. Guest guest
Indigenous culture's healing traditions can be of great aid in treating modern ailments, sometimes as a complement and sometimes as a replacement. When choosing a complex modality such as Chinese or Ayurveda I think that it is important to rely on a professional's guidance. Fortunately today we are able to find educated practitioners of both these disciplines and others much, much easier than in the past when the AMA/FDA choked them out. I strongly suggest having a consult with one. I have found many that have had both naturopathic and allopathic training. My Ayurvedic physician was an MD trained in emergency room medicine before returning to school to learn Indian healing arts. My Chinese medicine doctor likewise has been trained in both realms. Their insights have been invaluable to me in my healing journey. Here is to great success on your chosen path! , " stehle_2 " <stehle_2 wrote: > > Moderator's Note: > Dear Wendy, > Congratulations on choosing a course of action. > I was wondering if you would indulge a question of mine?.. Guest guest
Yes, I agree, after reading this article I found, and not really understanding the items used, I will use a professional. It's to deep for me, I really would like to rid my eye floaters.
