Guest guest
Moderator's Note: Kenn, you raised an interesting question so I did a quick engine search and found these sites that support the idea that Fenugreek does lower blood sugar. http://www.aaimedicine.com/jaaim/sep06/Blood_Sugar.pdf http://www.cspinet.org/nah/05_01/index.html http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_m0854/is_8_22/ai_n18609053 Take it for what it is worth- these are merely ideas for you to research further (if you choose) so you can make more informed decisions in your own health choices. DesertSkyNM --------- Do you say, you know Fenugreek really lower your blood sugar, or you just think so. Guest guest
SeaLady, Congratulations on discovering virgin coconut oil = VCO. VCO is one of those great fats out there. People should not be using grains / starch as their main source of energy. Too many ups and downs. Vegetables and fruits already have carbs. Starch carbs are the worst. Fats should be our source of energy. See Ex-diabetic Dwayne McCulley promote extra virgin olive oil too. At least you have 2 oils: VCO and EVOO. http://www.curelibrary.com/blog/health-notes/death-to-diabetes-how-to-reverse-di\ abetes-lecture-part-1/ There is more to diabetes than diet: http://www.curemanual.com/diseases-and-tweaks/diabetes (many links to helpful websites at the bottom for curing diabetes via RAW VEGAN or RAW PALEOLITHIC way.) Good skill, Edwin SeaLady wrote: > > Hi, my other half is diabetic, I got him started on coconut oil, he > felt so > much better, then I got Dr. Bernsteins book on diabetes, he recommends no > sugars, as in no carbs also and that you can control you BS levels and > keep > them level even when you eat if you follow his plan. > > Even following it loosely helps a lot and then I did research on whey.
