Guest guest
Tamara, Sound like a sinus infection. Try stopping all dairy and have her do steams w/ Eucalyptus Oil. My daughter had very similar symptoms when she was two and the doctors were trying to convince me she had asthma and should be on steroids! This started my path into alternative medicine. She is now a very healthy 12 year old. Good luck, Sandi Hello, My five-year-old daughter caught a cold in late November and has had a lingering cough ever since. I've taken her to the dr. 2X to listen to her lungs and she is fine otherwise except for this cough which is really annoying. It sounds like she's constantly trying to clear her throat and usually sounds very dry except for now that she's getting over another cold which made the productive cough come back again. Now she is having issues with post nasal drip which is causing her
Guest guest
We use Brocosin Homeopathic Cough syrup and find it works well most of the time- Once it didn't work and now I bought a homeopathic cough pellet to have on hand in case it happens again. Something that works within 5 minutes is using a vaporizer with drops of peppermint and eucalyptus oils in it- however then you can't use the homeopathics because they won't work- the only drawback to the vaporizer is that becasue I shut the door we get a bit of mold growth on the crack where the ceiling meets the wall so I had to wash it off with tea tree oil and I decided to wash the walls too- next time I'll leave the door open. Coughs can be allergic coughs too and they can be from the irritating post nasal drip- will she let you do a sinus rinse? or even a saltwater baking soda nasal spray?
