Guest guest
Moderator's Note: Folliculitis: it is in the acceptable medical practices an absolute requirement that all conditions be labeled as a method of record keeping. Those labels are pointers to on going health dynamics and can shift based on the observers perspectives and particular medical discipline. The appropriate understanding of a label would be to enable a clear connection to the dynamics presently expressed on the observable level and that includes all that can be discerned of the internal chemistry of the body. However to have a fuller recognition, an astute healer would also infer the dynamics at play that brought the circumstances to the present juncture and have reasonable notion of the influence of those inherent dynamics as they will unfold from the present moment forward. From the wholistic healing perspective rashes as a whole are an expression of assimilation and elimination of the inner immune system. There is a recognition of the fact that internal disorder is being expressed externally- so not until you clear up the underlying issue (the digestive dynamic) will you see a difference on the outside on the localized skin expression. The thesis that all must be assimilated or eliminated moves a health discordance to expulsion through the skin. Being allergic is an extension of the disability to assimilate. Calcarea Carbonica, a homeopathic remedy is a reasonable place to look at, indicated for childhood rashes associated with digestive systems not humming to the optimum. However an educated herbalist or homeopath would be a better channel for further inquiry. The next strand for the wholistic Sherlock Holmes approach would be to check the pH balance. pH balance is very easy to check by using readily available pH strips- check both urine and saliva. It is almost certain he will show to be reading in the acidic range of the balance, dietary changes can be directed by following the guideline for appropriate pH balance via diet. In closing, avoid all drug alchemy for topical application. Neem is a general bactericidal herb, many topical creams or lotions would be available. Find something suitable that is a natural organic substance to apply topically. DesertSkyNM ------------------------- Hi there, My son who is 6 has a persistent rash on his bottom aggravated by sweating and heat- I thought it was yeast and was now and then putting on yeast cream, a natural one, but took him to the md today who said not yeast, it's folliculitis which is more common in people with allergies. which he does have. Are there any natural creams that will help this and does anyone know of any tinctures or vitamins etc that might help? Thanks, Dianne
