Hi Laura:

Thanks a lot the response. We stay in Thousand

Oaks, which is about 50 miles from LA. We have tried

EEG ie kind of Bio-feedback. She is getting OT and

Speech therapy at School. She is seems to be OK with

her motor skills and Speech. But lacks the age

appropriate social skills. It is like she wants to

play with others, but as little success in this. Very

few of them even like to play with her. It is so

difficult to imagine her in the school playground.

We are having playdates and trying to train her. But

looks like a long road and was finding any other

tested menthods. I have heard of ABA and ABA and

Floortime, but never thought of trying it. Maybe I

should. Need to try Homeopathy too.

Thanks a lot again !

Rajesh,

If your daughter is having trouble with social skills but has the language you

may want to find a good floortime therapist. This really helps with engagement

and getting them involved socially. You can alsd look into Pivitol Response

Training (PRT) and that could help you too. Call the Universtiy of California

San Diego and ask about their PRT program. They may know someone in your area

If you google Pivitol Response Training you can read about it. I think it could

really help your daughter. The therapists there are wonderful.

Good luck!!!!
