Guest guest
Dear All, Could you please throw some light on Dextrophobia. One of my relatives is suffering from this problem since last year. Any alternate medicine than Allopathy as she is being given Tranculizers in addition to other Allopathic medication, which is disturbing her family life. Guest guest
Hi, I understand that Dextrophobia is the fear of things to the right side of the body. I don't have any concrete suggestions from experience, but if it were me personally I would try hypnotherapy, acupuncture and/or EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique). I would try hypnotherapy because it is very effective for treating phobias in many people, and I have found it effective personally for stress and anxiety. I would try acupuncture and/or EFT because these treatments work with the energy meridians of the body. My hypothesis being that your relative has an imbalance in her energy flows which could be causing this reaction. If she is having any other symptoms, either physical or mental, a classical homeopath may also be helpful. They look at symptoms in a very specific way - that means also if they are experienced on the left or right side of the body, at certain times of day, in particular conditions (warm, cold), etc. And of course, good nutrition is always important, and that means also for mental/emotional health. Food sensitivities and allergies can be a cause of anxiety states. Hope this helps, Sharon
