Hello and welcome to the 'A Hummingbirds Guide to Myalgic Encephalomyelitis'

e-newsletter for January 2008

I have two new updates to tell you about this month.

-----

'The Misdiagnosis of 'CFS'' paper was updated.

A number of links and references were updated, as was the 'for more

information' section and the 'notes on this text' section. The symptoms of

three new

illnesses were added to section 2 of the paper.

'None of the definitions of CFS defines M.E., so what do they define?

What does a diagnosis of 'CFS' actually mean?'

See: _http://www.ahummingbirdsguide.com/misdiagnosis.htm_

-----

The 'Hummingbirds' paper was updated.

This essay expands on the idea of hovering hummingbirds as a metaphor for

severe Myalgic Encephalomyelitis.

The prices of the prints available in the Online Gallery were reduced.

Single prints are now $19 (US) including free delivery, and there is also a

three for the price of two offer, and a special deal on a purchase of five

prints.

As always, 30 - 50% of the purchase price of each print or set of prints

sold will be donated towards funding M.E. research and advocacy. See:

To just make a donation towards M.E. research and advocacy yourself, please

Every dollar helps!

Reminder: Would you like to see your M.E. story on a M.E. YouTube video?

That's it for this month!

All the best, as always, in your ongoing battle with M.E. or your loved

one's battle with M.E., until next month,

On the CDCs latest prevalence statistics for 'CFS': 'We need to be narrowing

and better defining; not expanding into the universe.... Where is the

outrage, people?!?! We have been successfully herded and maligned by these

'psych'

types for way too long! Give 'em the boot already!! Kick 'em to the curb!

Stand up for yourselves and insist on some actual SCIENCE!! ' LK Woodruff, M.E.
