Guest guest
My young son has multiple thin brown scars on his face from being scratched by baby brother. Everytime I look at him I feel sad because it looks so terrible. Is there any thing I can do to fade these scars? I thought about taking him to the derm, but am afraid of using any type of procedure or rx on his young skin. Also, my other sons will get scratched or hurt but they don't scar at all. I've always wondered if he was deficient in a supplement to cause this scaring. Thanks for any advice. Susan **************Start the year off right. Guest guest
Susaan Onions topically are good for scars. I have not tried it though. Also, Vitamin E topically. Guest guest
Arnica makes for quick and remarkable healing...I, for example, once was chopping trees and hit hit my right hand full force against a rough stump, tearing it up considerably. I blended some arnica that I had boiled in water with some Aloe Vera; soaked the hand in it. Did this daily for a week and it healed- NO scars. Same with burns...I once reached into a 375 degree oven and picked up a metal handled pan by accident. My hand was sizzling...I quickly poured room temp tea (cameliensis) and rubbed aloe vera well on; and then used arnica and aloe. Once again, by the next day the hand was healed and no scars. It has really worked well for me always. You can find the herb in some places or find it growing. I buy the dried leaves and stems and boil them. Keep a bit in the frig so its handy. DO NOT drink it, as you'll get sick. BUT, it also makes for quick healing as a mouth rinse in extreme cases...I wouldnt use it orally unless, and always be careful not to swallow it.
