Can I have some opinions please? I was using Immunopro and don't know know whether to continue (I don't sell this, only take it!!) - see below. To cut a long story short, I have suspected autoimmune disorders and have to be very careful about taking things that " boost the immune system " such as Echinacea etc as they excite and stimulate rather than balance it. So I asked their customer care and this is what they said: As for as we know it is ok with autoimmune disease. However, because it contains immunoglobulins used in the immune system, to be on the safe side we shall check with the manufacturer and come back to you if that’s ok. Then came back the next day with: Their reply is as follows: “Our Native Whey Proteins will modulate/balance the immune system, i.e. support a depressed or calm an overactive immune system.†As everyone is different, if you do go ahead and order, I would suggest starting with a small amount and building up to the recommended dose to make sure your system handles it ok. I am a qualified nutritionist, so any further questions, let me know. I thought that was a good and thorough reply - what do you all think. I use NOW whey protein isolate which has a 30 gram dose. I take about 5 doses a day. immunopro would be way out of my price range if I used 150 grams of it per day. Many of the good wheys are not derived from wastes in making cheese. Most companies like to list benefits which are by no means unique to their particular product.
