Guest guest
As for acupuncture try GB 34, on both legs and Huatojiaji with moxa on level L 2- S 3. It may help, at least there is publication in Germany on several cases of stenosis when doctors used heat (they say electric generated) on Huatojiaji points. I use it myself, and it helps to some of my patients Yuri --- " Melanie Morris Katin, L.Ac. " <mmkatin wrote: > Dear All, > > Does anyone have any success/experience treating > lumbar stenosis? Guest guest
I am glad someone mentioned heat for spinal stenosis. The only case of it I have treated, when I was an intern in school, I treated the woman about three times with acupuncture and no results. Then I tried moxa treatment (even though I had been afraid to use heat because she had some internal heat signs) and it worked in one treatment; I contacted her months later and she had no further pain. I take this to mean she had some internal heat but she had cold in the GB and UB channels, and the moxa was able to take this away. The spinal stenosis, of couse, didn't change, but the cold and stagnation did. Julie > As for acupuncture try GB 34, on both legs and > Huatojiaji with moxa on level L 2- S 3. Guest guest
Hello, My mother has been experiencing Chronic Bursitis in her hip joint and leg pains. A recent MRI showed her to have Stenosis on the inside of the spinal column in one of her lumbar vertebra. Is there any way to reverse the Stenosis without surgery..or making the pain go away ? Thank you, ~malinda
Guest guest
Malinda, I too have spinal stenosis. I was told by Consultant that surgery stood a 50% chance of leaving me paralysed. I declined it. I have also used lots of alternative remedies, and I find what helps me most is Transdermal Magnesium (www.magnesiumforlife.com). I also have hip problems and my legs go numb too. I take bromelain (pineapple) and ginger. I dont have the pain I used to, so this worked for me. I rarely take painkillers now. I have been dx'd with cervical stenosis at 9+ on a scale of 10. with two blown out cervical disks. I have recently been doing Transdermal Magnesium therapy by spray, rub, foot bath and tub bath. I call it the Bath of Life. My neck has loosened up a lot, in addition to other good things. I use Nigari from www.naturalimportcompany.com as my source of magnesium chloride and trace minerals.
