Guest guest
I have problems with coffee withdrawal. If I just have one large cup of coffee two days in a row, I really feel the withdrawal the next day or the day after with headaches and slight nausea. I never really drank coffee until my 30's, and when I go without it I don't crave it but get the negative reactions. I try to not get addicted to anything, so I don't want to drink it every day, but I like it every once in a while -especially when I have deadlines. I wonder if anyone knows of a supplement or herb to prevent this withdrawal, which can happen to me every week? I know about not going cold turkey, green tea, aspirin w/ caffeine and drinking plenty of water, but is there anything else this coffee sensitive man can take? Guest guest
Coffee is an addictive drug, just like sugar, nicotine, and heroine. Over the years I have known many people who have attempted to cut back on variou drugs. In my observations, going cold turkey is the most effective. From what I have observed in myself and others, stopping completly is far more effective than moderating an addiction. Guest guest
When I get similar symptoms it is a signal that I have an inadequate folate intake. Eating more folate containing foods and taking a B- complex with a folic acid supplement does the trick for me. Paul , " Talmer Shockley " <talmer wrote: > > I have problems with coffee withdrawal.
