Guest guest
I have to chime in here on this, as I've heard that recently they have changed this ruling. Antibiotics are no longer needed prior to dental treatment. I had an heart valve replacement over an year ago, and I was taking the antibiotics prior to a dental procedure, now the last few visits the dentist didn't write the scipt and I've went though the usual dental procedures without the antibiotics. Ask your dentist about this, as in some cases there may be a need but there wasn't in mine.
