Guest guest Posted April 29, 2004 Report Share Posted April 29, 2004 Monarda fistula... Growing abundantly here in northern Michigan but are hardly up yet. fully in bloom end of August. The natives chew on a flowerhead when they have a bad headcold, make a very mild infusion for babies who have colic. Makes great tea from the young plants.
